Our Mission
Prodigy Enterprise™ strives to educate young kids from various areas of southern California within the topic of financial literacy. Our hope by doing this is that young kids will be able to understand the concept of personal finances better, in turn opening more opportunities for them later in life. Some of the main topics which we teach include Budgeting, Personal Investing, Avoiding Debt Traps, and Risk Management.
In addition to the education portion of our mission, we would like to grant young motivated kids a financial incentive to succeed within our program. This is to help ensure future goals, such as college, become more obtainable and affordable.
Meet the Founder
In my earlier adolescent years, I had always been determined to find what I was passionate about but could never truly get a grasp of what I wanted to do with my life. This all changed however when I discovered the topic of finance, and before I knew it I became obsessed with the topic. Day after day I have consistently indulged myself with knowledge regarding the topic and can confidently say I have a strong intellect over the basic topics of financial literacy. Currently working on my undergraduate degree in economics, I not only possess the knowledge to teach this subject but also am consumed with a passionate fire to make a meaningful change in society.
The next generation of Americans is faced with a serious disadvantage in comparison to their baby boomer predecessors. Commodities such as college and homeownership have grown to rates that have outpaced the rise in wages over previous decades. It has now become more apparent than ever that financial literacy needs to be taught to the next generation. By doing this, kids can obtain skills that provide them to make competent financial decisions in their future. However, many school systems still do not teach financial literacy skills. Therefore, I choose to create Prodigy Enterprise, a free online service that provides kids with the knowledge they need to succeed financially. I believe our mission statement will lead us in the right direction of achieving our goal, in which financial literacy will be taught to the next generation of kids, to set them up for a financially free future. I'm excited to educate and showcase all I have learned to the next generation and have a serious passion for providing these kids with a new influx of opportunities.
